so mike and i were suppossed to take our engagement pictures today (thursday).....BUT the stupid rain prevented it! aarrgg! i'm so bummed! i picked out the perfect outfit, got a mani and pedi, and went and got my hair done all for nothing!our pictures were scheduled for 5 pm. at 330 our photographer called me and said that he thought it was too cloudy to take pics. he would prefer to take them when it's sunny. he said he would take them if we really wanted, but would rather reschedule. as he's telling me this, i'm sitting in the hairdresser's chair, getting the finishing touches on my do, thinking "great! now what am i gonna do with this texas hair?! there goes 20 buck down the drain". i called mike to see what he thought and of course he agreed with the photographer. better to wait for the sun than to take the pics and realize later that we made a mistake. what a level headed guy i'm marrying! i know they were both right, but it still didn't stop me from being bummed. humpf! so now our e-pics are scheduled for the first week of may. just in time for my bday!! im so excited and i'm really looking forward to them. pray that the rain doesn't show up. you know what they say....."april shower's bring may flowers". i want to look like a beautiful blooming hydrangea! hehehe!!
